Macbeth throughout the play. This can be seen

Macbeth EssayLady Macbeth’s greed for power lead allows her to control Macbeth and create chaos, which leads to both of their destruction. In William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, Lady Macbeth stems chaos into Macbeth by implementing regretful decision throughout the play. This can be seen when Lady Macbeth bring up the idea to assassinate Duncan to Macbeth. Chaos ensues as Lady Macbeth pressures the killing of King Duncan through the use of her manipulative ways and eventually causing them their life.     Firstly, she makes the plan to kill King Duncan, while Macbeth was still considering not going through with the murder. Macbeth would not even have acted on the thought unless Lady Macbeth persuaded him. In act 1, scene 5, while Lady Macbeth was reading the letter Macbeth had written to her, she says “Come, you spirits that tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, and fill me from the crown to the toe top-full of direst cruelty.” In this case, Lady Macbeth said she would kill Duncan herself, if she was made a man. Furthermore, this passage illustrates that Lady Macbeth is the backbone to her husband since he has the tendency to waver. Lady Macbeth’s ambition is strong enough to drive her husband forward for their ultimate purpose.Through Lady Macbeth’s ambition she pressured Macbeth into killing Duncan. This stems into Macbeth then hiring assassins to kill Banquo and Fleance, which fails miserably. Macbeth then hired the same assassins to kill Macduff’s wife, child and servants. Furthermore, Lady Macbeth was aware of the fact that she had to influence Macbeth to kill Duncan, which weighs heavily on her conscience. Macbeth was indecisive with his decision to kill Duncan in Act 1 when he said  “He’s here in double trust: / First, as I am his kinsman and his subject, / Strong both against the deed; then, as his host, / Who should against his murderer shut the door,/ Not bear the knife myself” (I.vii.12-16).Thirdly, Lady Macbeth is a cunning person, who is unable to manipulate Macbeth making her partially responsible for his destruction. The readers clearly know that Macbeth doesn’t want to kill King Duncan with the fear that he might be caught. Lady Macbeth knew that her husband is too kind to kill Duncan without her help she feared “thy nature;/ It is too full o’th; milk of human kindness/ to catch the nearest way” (I. v. 16-18).  In conclusion, Lady Macbeth’s convincing ways lead her to her death and Macbeth to his massacre. In other words, she formulated the strategy that was used to assassinate King Duncan. Lady Macbeth also put intimidation on Macbeth to get the crown of Scotland by kill Duncan. And finally, she did this all in a machiavellian way. With the motive to kill King Duncan from the beginning of the play, Macbeth’s doom was destined from the start.    Cited Listhttps://freebooksummary.com/lady-macbeth-responsible-for-duncans-death-20275http://nfs.sparknotes.com/macbeth/page_54.html
