gathered.

Findings

1.
Economic,
Emotional/Psychological.

Participants
shared their responsibility with their ex-partner to raise their child properly
in spite of being separated. Most participants pointed out the pressures and
struggle encountered to give the needs of their child/children and most of them
stopped their education to focus on their responsibility.

1.1
Single mothers also said that their
experiences of being a single mother were not easy they undertake process on
teaching their children’s proper and appropriate values and without the support
of their ex-partners. They keep on facing their problems alone and raised their
child/children properly.

1.2
The single mothers help
themselves to value the importance of being a single mother of their duties and
responsibilities to their children. They were protected and guided by their
parents especially in times of their weaknesses to handle issues and
problems,  most of them were very
dependent to their parents help and in terms of financial issues, most of them
was depending the support of their ex- partners and in-laws.

2.
Coping Mechanism. In terms of the teaching techniques of single
mother towards their children may differ in some instances like giving them
guidance in every path that they want to take but most of them has the same
instinct and intensions to discipline their children on what is bad and good,
to do and not to do for them to grow as a good person and a citizen in the
community. Even in a young age one of the participants said that she teaches
and gives a lesson and sometimes scolding her children to correct their
mistakes.

2.1 Single mothers described their strategies that
help them to      persist in raising their
children. Most participants pointed out the          pressures
and the struggled they encountered to manage problems     and the double role of being a single mother in raising their child/children. Single mothers in this study
demonstrated a strong         sense of
self-worth and a value within themselves and a steadfast   commitment to overcoming difficulty that they
encountered in the entire situation in
raising their child/children

2.2 Single
mother, they were attach especially most of them were very young to get
pregnant and others were separated already. The common problems that they are
facing were which to overcome the challenges in their life and cope up the behavior
of their children. Mostly the single mothers state that they give their best
even without the support of their partners, so that they can give their
child/children a brighter future someday.

Implications

            This study implies that participants
1, 2 and 3 even though that they had experienced economic problem due to
financial crisis, these single mothers did not give up to fulfill the need of
their child/children. In fact even in a younger age of pregnancy they are still
wanting to pursue their dreams. This study may give them some light to value
and respect themselves and to give their very best not only to their family,
but unto others who had the same situation that they experienced and also it
might give them some lesson to learn in life.

            In facing their
emotional/psychological aspect in life, this study can give them a good
realization, mostly to the participants facing separation to their partners or
husband and causing themselves a high depression. It is good for them to think,
clear their mind and soul to conquer this problem because in this judgmental
society no one can hide their judgment. Especially to the participants that
have a low self-esteem, easily get hurt and can’t take any hurting words in
this study it may give them a thought that their experiences being a single
mother wasn’t easy but it was a good thing happen in their life when they
overcome it.

            Furthermore this study helps the
participants to lighten up their self because they weren’t one, two single mothers
in the society but more single mothers out there had experienced too much
problems and experienced great difficulties that they had encountered in
raising their child/children but they handle it, most especially when you have
a family who you can lend on. Open up your problems and share the experienced
that you have and it might give to others a good sample being single mother was
not a problem anymore it’s not a big issue anymore its up on you on how you
faced it.

            Lastly lived experience of single
mother wasn’t easy it’s a trials on you to overcome, a good trials that have a
good lesson to learn. Living behind the bars of humility and judgment from the
society was stressing and can take you down in a hopeless way. But it doesn’t
mean that you give up learn to fallow what the society judge you and fulfill
what you want to aim to your child/children by raising them a good example in
the near future and this study can teach every single mother out there who
suffered a rare difficulties in life.
