About Lacey & Larkin Frontera Fund

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin founded Lacey & Larkin Frontera Fund with the objective of advocating for the rights of migrants, freedom of speech and civil participation. The two journalists had observed the need for a charity organization that donates to human rights advocate groups.

When they received $3.75 million as settlement money, they decided to direct it to the noble course. The settlement money arose from a lawsuit that Michael and Jim filled against the government after their wrongful arrest by Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arpaio.

Lacey & Larking Frontera Fund is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. The organization funds human rights activities within the state. However, in special cases, they donate to groups operating outside Arizona. The Fund hopes to bring relief to thousands of immigrants in the state courtesy of funding the groups that fight for their rights.
